Family life is scattered across too many apps
Shopping lists in one place, calendars in another, reminders somewhere else, and a group chat full of "did anyone remember to...". Every new app is one more thing to download, learn, and forget to open.
Everyone already knows how to text
Grandparents, parents, and teens all send text messages. So we asked a simple question: what if there was nothing to install? Text Meeka "add milk" or "soccer practice Tuesday 5pm" and it just happens.
Why we didn't build Meeka on AI
When you text "remind me Thursday at 3," you want the same reminder on Thursday at 3, every single time. Rules are predictable. They are fast, they are private, and when something goes wrong we can find the exact line that caused it and fix it for good.
Your grocery list should not be a creative writing exercise. So Meeka's brain is a purpose-built language engine written by hand, one rule at a time.
One developer, thousands of tests
Meeka is designed, built, and tested by one person, mostly after dark. Every phrase people actually text, from "midmorning" to "later today," became a rule and a test. Today more than 3,000 automated tests check it, and a typical message is understood in a fraction of a second.
